Our Blanc de Blanc is named after a beautiful French saying;

“Mangez bien, riez souvent, aimez beaucoup”

Which translates to;
“Eat well, laugh often, love abundantly.”

Vintage Notes
Our third La Niña event in a row brought with it our wettest November in 30 years, as well as our latest vintage start to date. This meant higher than average disease pressure which was somewhat mitigated by significant winds from spring through to autumn. Yields were down across the district, but quality prevailed.

Winemaking Notes
A small parcel of fruit from McLaren Flat was harvested in mid-February in the early hours of the morning, keeping the fruit cool and in pristine condition. After destemming and pressing, the juice was settled and fermented cool in 100% stainless steel to preserve the freshness and purity of fruit. Full malolactic fermentation was also completed, building and softening the palate.
