This rich yet delicate Mataro offers a beautifully balanced expression of the variety, with bright blueberry notes, a touch of spice, and just enough tannin to lend refined structure.

 

Each sip reveals impressive depth and a long, smooth, savoury finish. 

 

For us, this wine embodies the belief that life is for living and celebrating the good moments. Mataro (Mourvèdre) has always been a style we’ve loved, and we knew it had to be our first premium release. Elegant, grounding, and deeply satisfying, it’s the wine you reach for on the days when you want to pause, sink in, and truly savour the glass in front of you.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep red with purple hues

Bouquet: Blueberries, and blackberries are abundant with some spicy notes of black pepper and a hint of licorice.

Palate: Opening with blue fruits, followed by a juicy plum core, the tannins are firm yet well-integrated offering a smooth yet structured mouthfeel that provides both richness and balance. Fruit sweetness and savoury notes work harmoniously with an attractive kick of spice.

Can I return my order?

Yes! We only bottle wines that we absolutely love so we really beleive in what we sell. However we also appreciate that everyone has their own tastes, which we totally respect.

So if you're not 100% happy with anything you order from DTRH, you can return it to us within thirty days from the order delivery date for a full refund or replacement. There will be no cost to you for any part of the return process.
